I'm sure everyone here has heard the news of fast-tracking casting for the Han Solo anthology film in order to squeeze a Han Solo cameo into Rogue One (if not, see here and here and dozens of other places). I've read quite a few comments/eye-rolls about the cameo, and general dissatisfaction with how connected the SW universe is and how basically nothing happens in the GFFA without involving H/L/L. Fair enough. But what gets me about these latest comments is that they're coming from fans who can't believe Han would have anything to do with the rebellion prior to ANH. Um... I know Ann Crispin's Han Solo series isn't a fan favorite, but until just recently it was CANON that Han had connections to rebels (Bria Tharen!) and Red Hand Squadron who were part of the attack on an Imperial communications center to capture the plans for the Death Star. I wonder if the Rogues are going to encounter their Red Hand comrades in Rogue One? Not to add fuel to the ire of the Han Solo casting, but now I'm wondering if everyone's favorite </sarcasm> Bria will be making an appearance too?
